What is a Single Network Debit Card?

A single network debit card is a type of debit card associated with a specific payment network, such as Visa, Mastercard, eftpos, or another network. Unlike dual-network debit cards, which typically operate across an international network like Visa or Mastercard and a domestic network (e.g. eftpos in Australia), a single network debit card only allows transactions to be processed through one network.
